Good eats in the greater Atlantic City area?
Just moved into South Jersey to work in AC, and I was wondering if anyone had good recommendations? I searched, and seems like a lot of the talk is about tourist spots in AC itself - being I'm not a native I have time to fan out and try some other venues. I've seen Knife and Fork, Dock's Oyster House and Little Saigon and White House Subs mentioned a few times. What other suggestions for AC, Margate, Brigantine, Egg Harbor, Mays Landing, or any other nearby locales? (All price points appreciated)

The Clam Bar (aka Smitty's) is a great spot. It's BYOB, has GREAT clam chowder, fresh seafood, and clams on the half shell. They also have non-seafood options as well. If the line is too long, grab your food to go and sit on a bench, looking at the bay.
Fitzpatrick's Deli (New Rd, Somers Point) has good sandwiches and specials. Portions guarantee you will not leave hungry, that's for sure.
Yama in Ventnor is the place to go for sushi. Fish is always fresh, prices are fairly reasonable.
Dino's subs in Margate has great cheesesteaks and cold subs. Grab one to go and sit on the boardwalk.
Mexico and Los Amigos, up in Atlantic City, are good if you're in the mood for south of the border cuisine. Decent margaritas too.

Here is my review of two places in Margate
Since I did this review I have be back to both
The food at Fisch kitchen is excellent
Often they have a lobster roll with fresh back
soft roll which is fantastic
but all the food is delicious
Much more of a Chowhound place that Smitty's
Smittys is decent casual fish place and a fun place
to go but the food is nowhere near the caliber of Fisch
Two new restaurants recently opened in Margate. The first, Fisch Kitchen, a casual, comfortable, byob, seafood place with top-notch food, where you order at a take-out window and eat under cover at funky picnic tables. The menu changes daily based on the availability of fresh seafood. Everything we ate over three meals, from crab cakes to smoked scallop salad, roasted black sea bass, shrimp and apple salad to blueberry tart and chocolate chip cookies, was fresh and beyond delicious.
The second, Mangos, is a freshly painted space where Dune used to be. We enjoyed chips with fresh green salsa. The grouper, steamed in banana leaf served over coconut rice was tasty as was the Columbian Tipical, grilled flank steak (skirt steak on menu, but it was 86'd) with rice, beans and a fried egg
Bill's Gyro on the AC Boardwalk between Bally's and Showboat.
Great little greasy spoon lunch counter kind of place with liquor and drinks in plastic cups and dollar bills plastered all over the walls, ceiling, and chairs. Get the Gyro Platter and enjoy.
The Mexican Place on the Main drag there by the Casinos is pretty good too.
