      Anyone try Red yet? It opened on Valentine's weekend.

        Yes. I gave it a shot. It's not bad, but it's nothing special. For the price, there is much better in New Haven, and for the type of food, there is much better in New Haven. Considering what it is replacing, it's a huge step down.

          We went last night and it was dreadful. I couldn't even finish my salad. Edamame hummus starter wasn't bad, but salmon, catfish, tuna mains were all nearly inedible. Desserts were better: Passion Fruit Cheesecake was pretty good and so was the flourless chocolate cake. Wouldn't go back.
