Quiet, Romantic & Delicious on the Westside

Need a place where I can have a quiet, romantic dinner with delicious food this Sunday. Jiraffe is closed, Lucques only has Sunday Supper. Hatfields never really delivers for my taste. Haven't been to dinner at the Peninsula or LaCachette Grill. Jar is a favorite, but doesn't feel quite romantic enough. I need help!!!!

if you're willing to venture beyond the Westside, i'd say Saddle Peak Lodge. otherwise, how about Il Cielo?

The garden/patio at Michael's in Santa Monica is beautiful, quiet and romantic...or Valentino can usually oblige if you specifically request a quiet table. The Peninsula is very nice, but it is somewhat stuffy and pretentious.
