Fresh Whole Sardines

I'm making a three course Italian dinner for New Years and would like to serve sardines as a first course. Would prefer fresh ie not out of a can. Any suggestions? Does Coastal have them? Thanks in advance.

I guess frozen will work too .. Just looking for whole good sized sardines

  Call Coastal Seafoods (tomorrow, as they are closed on NYE). They should at least be able to tell you where to find them.

    Coastal is open New Year's Eve 9am to 6pm according to their website.

      Dang, that's not a bad deal. Are they whole (head and tail on) and gutted? Thanks for the info, there's a few sardine dishes I've been interested in making, but didn't seriously consider them because I didn't think I could find them around here. Awesome!
