Social dining in San Gabriel Valley?
Hey Folks! I'm meeting up with friends I haven't seen in a year and we need a place to have lunch in the San Gabriel Valley where they won't kick us out for talking and laughing and sitting for 2-3 hours...of course we'll be eating and drinking...so no worries about us being cheap table-hoggers. Any suggestions?
Maybe even a restaurant close to a coffeehouse where we could lounge even longer over warm drinks and cool music.

If you are looking for Japanese check out Shin Sen Gumi Yakitori and Shabu Shabu and then you can hit up Half and Half tea house afterwards which is less than 100 meters away.

That would be Wahib's on Main St, Alhambra, across from McDonalds. They have great food and the BEST LAMB dishes in all of LA County. Fabulous place for the vegetarian, as well, with an extensive array of wonderful cooked, fresh, and marinated vegetable dishes, from Middle East. Lebanese food , in my opinion is the best Middle eastern food around, and these people serve it the way you might get it in the Middle East, PLUS, you can sit for hours and chat , in the back and nobody will rush you.
