NYT review, Chinese, loud music, not amazing: can't remember the name!

Can anyone help me? I can't remember the name of the restaurant! The review would have been since Sept '10, and Google just isn't of much help.
-Chinese, with a couple Western twists (Mac n' cheese I think?)
-late-night
-loud hip-hop
-food not spectacular, but servicable
And I'll be damned if I can remember the neighbourhood, but pretty sure it's south of Midtown.
