Special venue for Sunday cocktail party - Toronto

We are hosting a cocktail party on a sunday afternoon in January for about 30 - in Toronto - Any thoughts - a place with a view would be great = can be a restaurant or a place which can be catered.

price not really an issue, the location needs to be good. Not this Sunday but at the end of January. Any thoughts would be appreciated

Woo! I can read. Sorry DEF2323, I missed the "in January" part.

Place with a view and money isn't an issue... "good location" is nebulous, so I'll just start naming places. You'll have to call them all of course - not sure who can do an afternoon and/or Sunday.

Canoe - Though I'm not sure if they'd do a small party in the afternoon. Good view. Contact them.
Scaramouche - Same as above.
Red's - Has a lovely room overlooking the street that would probably do 20. Food should be satisfactory.
Gardiner Museum - You'll have to see about availability, but this is a great space. Catered by JK Kitchens.
Frank @AGO - interesting space, less of a view. Don't know if you could book an area off.
C5 at the ROM - decent view.

There are more places I'm sure, but less with a view, I'd think.

There's also this place - I haven't been there for maybe two years, but I remember the food was pretty good and I think it had a nice view. Used to go for business functions when I worked in the area. http://www.torontoathleticclub.com/st...

Price? Any particular location in Toronto? I'd also think that you're going to be scrambling for a place - Sunday is really soon and it's the holiday season... You'll need a bit of luck!
