Good cheap eats near the Ordway

Heading to the Ordway tonight, and need a place to eat. We are bringing the kids (11 and 15), so don't want to break the bank i.e. Pazzaluna, Kincaids. Any suggestions? It would be nice to only have to park once.

Thanks,
Bill

I'm too late to help, but I'd have opted for Cosettas or Ruam Mit (but allow some time there, service can be spotty).

Barrio Lowertown is easily walkable, and would be my first choice for cheap eats in the area. Plenty of small plates - think dressed up Latin street food. It's a tequila bar, as well, but kid-friendly enough for the ages you mentioned, especially in the early, pre-show hours.

Thanks, Barrio was perfect. Fun and easy.

Drawing a bit of a blank right now on the downtown Saint Paul side of things. Perhaps Great Waters. You probably don't want Mickey's. But my first thought was Burger Moe's. It's on W. 7th, but certainly walkable (espeically since it has warmed up a bit).

Not too expensive and close to the Ordway: first thought is Jimmy John's. Too fast foody? Bulldog or Senor Wongs would be walkable. And while it would take two parks, I'd opt for Red's Savoy (they don't seem to have a current website).
