It's terrible, I think you're talking about Pizza King.. One of the worst pizzas I've ever had, nobody in the neighbourhood likes it either from what I know. Also I think its vegetarian from what I remember, I don't think they have any pepperoni or anything like that. I live 2 minutes away so I had high hopes

Curiosity has got the best of me---what exactly is 'Indian-style' pizza? If it's anything close to what we in Toronto call Hakka, Indo-Chinese food, I'm in.

Indian Style pizza = cheap and doughy.. Moga's Pizza, Pizza Depot, City South Pizza, City North Pizza, and so on are all Indian owned. Tons of them here in Brampton...

I've had the pizza at Crispy Pizza which is inside the Singh Supermarket on Albion Rd just east of Hwy 27, because that's where I get my favourite samosas (4 large ones for $1). That pizza was pretty good and I've actually brought it home, but as you said, duckdown, it just had the usual flavours (although they do have a pepperoni option). I was kind of hoping for a fusion of Indian and Italian.

What's up with the Indian pizza joints in the plaza at Dixie+Eglinton?

We just tried one recently at a relatives house called Apna Pizza. I can't tell you where it is but it had a decent paneer pizza. Mozzarella, grilled paneer, thinly sliced onions and the odd and well-hidden green chili!
The kids inhaled the beef "pepperoni" one so it must have been decent as well. Im not sure what the attraction is though... besides some of them being halal.
