Hazan's Essentials recipe - ISO amounts for 3 ingredients for the polenta shortcake with figs, raisin and pinenuts

I'm traveling and planning on makine the above for dessert tonight. I found an online version but it's in oz. rather than cups and a couple of the amounts don't sound quite right to me. Could someone please look and tell me what is called for for cornmeal, flour and sugar? I really appreciate it. I'm not a baker and winging is not in my vocabulary. TIA.

    1 cup coarse cornmeal
    Heaping 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1 cup all purpose flour

        I think somebody should start a website showing the photos of us Hounds, e.g., in this thread, a terrier-type dog is asking an Alice Cooper look-alike to translate measurements. Where else on earth could you find this?
