It's been a couple of years since I've gone, but I thought it was one of the best hamburgers I've had! It was hand made and perfect rare. I know they are open for lunch during the week, but I don't know about weekends and evenings. It's tucked way in the back of an office complex...It may be the Held Building.

Please report back if you end up going!

I was a wage slave in that building for a few years and would periodically eat at The Cellar as a treat. I didn't have the hamburger, but the turkey burger wasn't particularly worthwhile. Not bad, but not great, either.

The burger, as I recall, is pretty ordinary, the fries subpar.

Given the eats available in century city it is practically manna from heaven. But the burger is no more than good on its own terms.

I ate at the Cellar for the first time a couple of weeks back. I actually was quite impressed, at least with their salad selections. I had a very nice salad with butter lettuce, avocado, and chicken in a raspberry vinaigrette. Definitely worth checking out if you work in the area, IMHO.
