Whole turkey breast isn't getting done

i've been baking a whole turkey breast (8.75lb) in the oven since 10:45am. it is now 1:40pm and it's still 150º. the thermometer is definitely not broken. Can i just increase the temperature from 325 degrees to something higher or would that just burn the outside? i have it now covered in foil since the outside started to brown too deeply. argh!

I would say jack it up 50 degrees and leave the foil on. Does it have stuffing by any chance?

phew. glad you responded. no stuffing. going to up it 50. for the record i also have an independent thermometer in the oven so my oven temp is right on.

You're not doing bad. My husband votes for 160 degrees saying "it's not dried out yet."

haha! well, it appears to have reached 165 degrees on the side that was in the back of the oven. i got super psyched then was SO let down when the other side of the breast measured 150 degrees! so i flipped the pan and now it's baking more.
