Rehearsal Dinner somewhere in La Jolla / Del Mar or North County
Hi,
I'm trying to find a good spot for ~75 people somewhere in La Jolla / Del Mar or North County up to maybe Encinatas.
Would ideally include some view of the ocean or at least outdoor feel and a very relaxed, non-formal vibe (we were looking at George's and Marine Room, but both feel kind of over the top the day before the wedding.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

I heard from a reliable source the Rancho Valencia Resort property, under new ownership, is back to its former excellence, food/service-wise. I think it would be an idea place for a rehearsal dinner.

Two recommendations: Blanca and Brigantine Del Mar
1. My husband and I just had dinner at Blanca in Solana Beach and found the food to be very creative and tasty. Very relaxing vibe and very low key. Unfortunately, there is no ocean view but they have plenty of parking. The chef's tasting was a bargain at $75 per person.
2. Brigantine Del Mar. Some partial ocean view and reasonably priced seafood. Food is okay, valet only parking. It also has an outdoor area....but it might be pretty cold.
If your meal is at night keep in mind that you won't be able to see the ocean so the view will likely be underwhelming….unless your meal is during the summer days.
Congrats and good luck!
