Mele Kalikimaka, Hau'oli Makahiki Hou!

Mods will probably Grinch this, but I want to wish all CHers--even the Mods--a very Happy Holiday and Happy New Year.

I have learned a lot from all of you here in 2010, and am reminded of the Mo'olelo Hawai'i Kahiko (old Hawai'ian proverb) that roughly translates: "Not all knowledge is within your house." I.e., we all have a lot to learn.

Mahalo Kakou (Thank You All)!

  1. My Grandfather used to say, "Wise men don't shake hands with crawdads."

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years y'all...

My GF liked to say "I'd rather feed 3 men who said they were hungry than one man who said he wasn't." Happy Holy Daze

    2. No Grinching! I've always felt that knowledge was better shared than pigeonholed away in someone's mind. One of the nice things about CHers is that they are willing to share their knowledge and experiences the year round.
