Columbo's Pizza on Danforth

I passed by and noticed the renovated counter, and menu boards. Is this place under new ownership?

Where is this place? Do they have sit-down?

It's around Quatrro Ragazze, so between Coxwell and Woodbine. They do have sit down, but you have to enjoy fluorescent lighting and formica.

They also deliver too, Ive ordered veal sandwiches from them, but I always gotta get a riceball, those things are great!(especially with sauce)

Alas, the pizzas I used to really enjoy from Colombo's went with the old owners. I used to really like the Napoletano pizza. It's just not the same anymore. Recently, we had that and the pepperoni. The crust has changed, the toppings are not nearly as flavourful....it's just not the same pizza. And that rice ball...sadly, not the same either. As much as I would like to support the local businesses, I won't be coming back unless there's an improvement.

Really? I'll have to drop in soon and check it out. I don't get their pizza that often, not because it's bad, just because I tend to gravitate to Danforth Pizza House for takeout or Bona for delivery. But I haven't been in a while, this is my excuse to eat more pizza!

I hope its not new ownership, this place is a gem on the Danforth. Their Riceballs (arancini) are fantastic, and their panzos are great too, I really like their veal on a kaiser as well!

I agree, they do an excellent veal sandwich. I recall seeing an ad for the sale of the place a couple years back. Maybe it went through.
