?? My group on offer was for fitness stuff? I don't get how groupon works anymore. A friend of mine bought a Groupon from Double Check Ranch this AM....it posted on his FB page so I was able to see it, click on it and buy one for myself but don't actually see it if I go to the Groupon I page. I see the same offer i had in my inbox this morning.

Don't see Voltaire anywhere?? Have never been there...if I find it, is it worth buying one?

If you are 70 or over then yes

They market to an older crowd, like the Golden Girls

      I've got jokes today ;p

We really like Voltaire, have visited 4-5 times, and always with friends who are fellow fans. The clientele tends to be older, but that never matters to us. I like that there's a relaxing quiet atmosphere and nicely dressed crowd. I love the classic French menu (duck l'orange, ris de veau, coquilles St. Jacques, etc). On Mondays they have Dover sole flown in. I haven't been in a while, though. Here's a report of one of my visits from 2008:

I know Seth is a fan too:

I adore Voltaire and the fact that the clientele is older is that much better. Last time I was there I was entertained hearing conversations about World War II, Coco Chanel and the like. So much better than the tap-tap-tap of people texting.

The atmosphere is subdued and relaxing and the menu is very classic French cuisine.

Such a lovely spot that gets either overlooked or a bad rap because our senior citizens visit there in droves.

Seriously though: I have eaten there, and live walking distance to them, it is solid, however nothing blew us away. Thought everything was a bit heavy / greasy - we had a multiple course tasing menu on new years a couple years ago, was kind of a culture shock walking into the place because it felt like walking into a time warp to the 70's - that being said we had a good time there, the clientele was very fun and vocal as Seth alueded to, so in truth we had fun and interesting time there, we still talk about our interesting visit

Would i go back there: No

Would i recommend going there once to check it out to see if you like it: Yes

If you scroll down in your groupon e-mail, there are several other listings for groupons in the area. You can go through all of them that way.
