Dinner suggestions for New Year's Eve near Downtown L.A.

Hey guys and gals. I was looking for a good place to eat on New Year's Eve near downtown L.A. I live in Pasadena so getting places will be relatively easy. I'll be with a party of about 8 people and we're not too picky about what we want to eat...pretty much anything but sushi! Price range about $75-$100 per person. Please help!!
