SF hound going to be in Vegas soon - suggestions for places to eat?

I'm going to try to do some hiking/sightseeing in Vegas & looking for places to eat. Cheap eats under $25pp, any kind of foods, places with some steamed/stir fried vegetables would be a help for hubby, chicken, fish, tofu, etc. Meats ok. We will have a rental, staying at Caesar's Palace.

Hoover Dam
Red Rock Canyon
Valley of Fire
Atomic Testing Museum
Lk Mead NRA

Don't know when you're going but Luv-It Frozen Custard is closed for Christmas vacation. I had to check because it's one of my go-to places every trip.

thanks for the help. Yes, going Xmas vacation - sad it's closed! Any other favorites I shouldn't miss? I do have a huge sweet tooth.

At the California Casino (downtown) they have an Ethel M store on the mezzanine and right next door is Lappert's (super premium ice cream from Hawaii) ice cream parlor. Right across from Lappert's is Aloha Specialties a casual restaurant(you order at the cashier-they cook and deliver your food) specializing in Hawaiian food with some decent stir fry dishes...Hawaiin plate kind of lunches all less than $10. Free validated parking at the California Casino.

How do I know...I'll be spending Xmas there.
