Detroit: Slow's To Go now open...

http://detnews.com/article/20101210/LIFESTYLE/12100320/1035/ENT03/Slows-to-Go-BBQ-opens-Monday-in-Cass-Corridor

You don't have to wait around to be seated anymore for delicious barbecue dishes and delectable sides from Slow's BBQ in Corktown, because the popular restaurant is opening a to-go location at 4107 Cass Ave. at Alexandrine. The carry-out location, which is in the heart of the Wayne State University area, is set to open Monday.

Slow's BBQ is one of the most talked-about Detroit restaurants in recent years. Not just locally, either. Slow's has been featured in national publications like the Wall Street Journal, and on television in the Travel Channel's "Man vs. Food" program.

Call (877) 569-7246 or visit www.slowstogo.com.

Mini-Rant: I'm a bit frustrated; seems like three or four of my many favorite food joints are "to go". Not being an accomplished dashboard diner, excludes me from enjoying these places more frequently than I would like..

Now, we just need Corridor Sausage Co. to open, and we'll be golden!
        Thx for the alert.

Anyone been? Or still eating? Welcome to expansion and in Cass (Bravo) as well. Going during the Holiday weekend. Your comments are very welcome.

Got carryout just last night and didn't detect any obvious difference from the main location's food.
