NYE By Rittenhouse Square

Visiting Philly from NYC over New Year's weekend and have reservations for New Year's Eve dinner at Branzino by Rittenhouse Square. As dinner is unlikely to last until midnight, any suggestions for a nearby bar that may not be swamped and that won't have an open bar special for the night where we can get a couple of post-dinner drinks?

Tria is nice for wines by the glass. Try the one on 12th it's larger than the one on 18th. Also Max Brenner is fun for drinks and/or dessert. http://www.maxbrenner.com/menus/menus...

Black Sheep works. As an alternative to a pub atmosphere, you're also not far from Jet Wine Bar on South Street. I don't know exactly what their NYE plans are, but I doubt it will be swamped.

Try Black sheep. It's a cool Irish pub literally steps from the restaurant.
