Good Friday and Easter in Barcelona

Hello - does anyone have any experience being in Barcelona over the Good Friday/Easter weekend? Are most restaurants/attractions closed on both of those days? I am trying to plan a vacation in Spain over this time period, and we figured that Barcelona would be the best place to be over these few days because some restaurants must be open (unlike smaller towns). Will our options be severely limited? Thanks for any advice!

I'll also be in Barcelona over Good Friday/Easter so I'm interested in any replies. From my research so far, it does seem like all museums and attractions will be open; in fact, many which are normally closed on Mondays will be open Easter Monday, on holiday hours. Also, it happens that the Saturday--April 23--is a totally unconnected festival day--St. Jordi's day, which looks to be festive in and of itself. So I'm not worried about finding things to do. However I would be interested to hear more about specific restaurants.

Restaurant wise, you will not be impacted. Most will be open on their regular schedule. A few close for that week but that should not be a problem. Keep in mind that generally, Sunday is a popular day for restaurant closings, especially evenings. As for "attractions" such as museums, they are open for half day on holidays, closing around 2:30pm.
