Lobster prices in Boston

I'm relatively new to Boston. Cooking Xmas Eve dinner at my house for 12 people.

Who in Boston has the best prices for quality lobster?

Thanks for the help.

Stop & Shop $6.99 lb this week. I bought a couple the other day and they were fresh and lively in the tank. Sweet! Not sure what Shaw's is selling this week, but they are at Prudential and steam to order if that helps.

Market basket in Woburn had them for $5.99 this weekend. I really like their fish, but I have been to a couple other Market Basket's and been a little nervous. My sense is a lot of people are like me and so the Woburn location does a lot of business. A couple of years ago when they were like $3.99 they were doing so much business they didn't even bother putting them in water- the guy behind the counter said they would just come in in crates and get sold in minutes, so why bother putting them in water. Deliveries all day long. People would order like 10 lobsters. We ate so much I started complaining, "oh come on, please don't tell me lobster AGAIN for dinner, why cant I have some chicken once in a while"

MB's are 6.99 per lb, not bad for winter prices.

Chinatown places or any Market Basket with a seafood section.

My dad swears by a seafood shop in Chinatown located in the basement below Winsor Dim Sum Cafe at 10 Tyler Street. He usually gets lobsters there for $3.99-$4.99 per pound.
