Great falafel and more!
A friend took me to Cafe Barada for the first time, for lunch the other day. We shared a terrific green salad with tangy feta cheese, the creamiest hummus I've ever had, fresh pita, and the tastiest falafel I've had in years! The balls were crunchy and garlicy. I'm getting hungry as I think about it. It's a pleasant room, too. All food is made on the premises. I will be back for dinner so I can enjoy a glass of wine with my meal. Definitely worth putting on the "regular" list.

Sorry to be Mr. Humbug at the holidays, but I took a small group a few years ago and we were totally underwhelmed. We went on the rec of a Lebanese friend who assured us that this was real Lebanese food, and we DID like the people who ran it. But the food was just bland and blah. OK taste and portions but nothing special and I'm sorry to say, dull. It was kind of a let down, and we've never been back.
