taking our boy out tomorrow night to celebrate his 2nd birthday. Which restaurant do you recommend that would be enjoyable for a 2 yr old? Thanks!!

Shady Grove often requires a wait, and there's no playscape. Phil's/Amy's are very kid friendly, and they have good burgers and chicken sandwiches (but less overall menu variety) at Phil's.
Phil's was a great choice-thanks! happened to go to Shady Grove for lunch, and the wait was crazy, and there wasn't much for kids-thanks for the tip guys
we were out at Phil's on S Lamar just last night and there was a bday party going on. Seemed like a good place. It has a lot more seating than the one up on Burnet.
With Amy's Ice Cream right next door and an adjacent play structure, Phil's is a lot of fun.Plus the burgers are pretty darn good.
I would second phils/amy's...plus the temps today should be perfect for it. Plus I would rather eat a burger and some of the sweet potato fries at phils than at shady grove.
