Fine Dining - Albuquerque - New Years Eve

I will be visiting my adult daughter in Albuquerque and we would like to know about fine dining places in Albuquerque. It just happens to be on 12/31 but it does not have to be a New Years Eve event, if it was, we would probably go to the early seating.

I like cutting edge west coast cuisine, gourmet Southwest and also French and Italian influences. It will be a special occasion, so I'm not too worried about cost.

I second The Rancher's Club. Artichoke Cafe is a good choice. Trombino's is excellent Italian fine dining.

Have you been to Trombino's? I haven't, but I've never heard anything especially positive about it. Artichoke is decent, albeit quite overpriced; I really think Deb's other choices would be a better fit.

The Ranchers Club would be my first choice. Very fine dining, top notch service.

La Provence in Nob Hill, french bistro at its best.

Scalo, also in Nob Hill, for Italian.
