Garlic Restaurant Suggestions in the Raleigh-Durham Area?

We're moving to the triangle area, and starting to scope out new restaurants to try. Where we live now (San Francisco), there's a restaurant called the Stinking Rose, that specializes in garlicky foods (they even have a chicken dish that comes with 40 cloves of roasted garlic!).

I know we're not going to be able to find something like that out in North Carolina, but I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for restaurants that serve lots of garlic? Looking at menus, all I've been able to find are the standard garlic fries. So please post your suggestions on where we can get our garlic-fix in the area!

Thanks a bunch!

Thanks you guys! I had a feeling I wasn't going to find something as garlicky as the Stinking Rose...guess I'll have my work cut out for me with trying to cook at home with garlic!

Gosh, I haven't seen anything like the Stinking Rose anywhere in the country... You could smell that place from a couple of blocks down walking down Columbus. My guess is that you may have to find an accommodating restaurant owner to get your fix, good luck!

I'm pretty sure that Kitchen, in Chapel Hill, would up their use for you if you asked. And the escargot at Vin Rouge is very good, as is the clam appetizer, which is also nice and garlicky.

The garlic fries at Tyler's (Carrboro location at least, probably also at Durham and the others) are very garlicy.

I've seen chicken w/ 40 cloves as a special somewhere (maybe Vin Rouge?). In the spring, Crook's Corner (and also other places) does a nice green garlic soup. About the same time of the year, Lantern (&/or Jujube?) does an appetizer with garlic shoots.
