Kouign Amann at Pop-up General Store (Oakland) - order by noon today 12/20

Short notice, but I just saw this:

From the website:
Starter Bakery  will offer delicious Kouign Amann! Kouign Amann (pronounced KOO-ine ah-MAHN) is a traditional pastry from Brittany, in the northwest of France. Translated from Celtic as "butter cake," Kouign Amann is like a cross between a croissant and a palmier: crispy outside; light & flaky inside; buttery, salty and sweet.

Three Kouign Amann per order

  1. Had them last month. Very rich. Denser than described, but I liked them a lot. They also had a couple of fruit flavors that I did not try.
