What to Eat with Korean Pancakes?

I want to make kimchi pancakes tonight for dinner, but I need to have some meat sitting along side so there are no frowny faces at the table.

Any ideas that do not involve bulgogi?

Saw this too late for tonight's dinner, but I would have voted for fish too. Or maybe a nice Korean-style haddock soup:

I thought of those green chile pepper pancakes at first.

The meat that's stuck on my mind is SPAM. Thinking I need to eat it to get it out of my mind. Anyway, it's certainly strong enough to go with kimchi pancakes.

Outside of that, and the beef you mentioned, the only thing that comes to mind is lightly seasoned steamed pork served with a side of hot sauce and raw greens (I think red leaf, perilla and scallions).

Does salmon count as meat? Baked salmon with soy/honey glace, sprinkled with black sesame seeks. Or grilled/broiled flank steak, marinated in soy sauce, ginger, and a bit of sesame oil.

Yeah, that counts as meat and that is a darn good idea! Sold!

          Thank you!
