Does anyone know where I can get a tortilla press made of cast iron, with none of that silver paint on it? I’d like to find one that is either 10” or 12”.

Your likely going to have to go with one that is painted. I don't remember seeing a "naked" one in years. It's best to use some wax or teflon paper between the dough and the press anyhow, so it should not be a problem.

I would try Fiesta or, El Rancho markets or, one of the many restaurant supply stores around town. I prefer Ace Mart.

I believe I saw them at Elrod's in Irving. Might give them a call before making the trip. Also ask to see if they are painted.

The Elrods near me only had the small one. I ended up getting one at the Fiesta near me. It is a little bit bigger, but not 10" or 12". It was cheap enought to try it out.
          Thanks for the info.
