We're going to Minetta Tavern tomorrow evening for a BIG anniversary dinner--big in terms of years married! Any recs as to what to order?

In case you want something more celebratory than a hamburger for your anniversary dinner, the côte de boeuf for two is pretty much the tastiest hunk of meat in the city, beautifully presented. It's an ample portion, served with a few pieces of split marrow bone and a small salad that comes as a refreshing mid-course, but you can order an appetizer anyway to extend the meal. Modestly sized servings of potatoes and vegetables are available separately. Have a soufflé for dessert.

    Happy anniversary!

Second the Côte de Boeuf for two, just an incredible piece of meat. Served with the bone marrow and salad it's a meal in itself. If you're really feeling gluttonous you could always split the Black Label Burger as an "appetizer."

Third vote for the Côte de Boeuf.
