Traveling from Tucson thru ABQ with a wide trailer - where to eat?

I don't know what it is but, between Las Cruces and ABQ I have had a terrible time finding something to eat. I remember one time spending an hour and 15 minutes to get my order at McDonalds.

I will be traveling from east Tucson and taking the bypass through Hatch to miss Las Cruces up to 1-40 and out to OKC. Where can I get a good meal between Tucson and ABQ that has parking for an 8 foot wide trailer? I would prefer anything Southwestern and to avoid chains.

  1. How is the Dairy Queen green chilli burgers in Hatch? Or the Pepper Pot resturant I have read about?

      The DQ in Hatch is long-gone.

      I'd suggest the green chile burger at Sparky's. Not sure about parking though.
