Where to eat? Staying at Wild Dunes on IOP

I've seen some great suggestions for eating in Charleston, but is there any good breakfast or dinner places on IOP? This is our first stay at the resort & I wasn't sure if their dining choices were to be embraced or avoided ;-) We will only be staying Monday night.

The most comfortable restaurant with really really good food is 17 North, just north of the IOP connector; good bar, too.

I like it too. The back patio is really nice this time of year.

I like Gullah Cuisine as well. I don't usually like buffets but the lunch buffet there has many different lowcountry favorites and the price is right.

OHHH yeah. Sea Biscuit is the place for breakfast. It gets crowded so be prepared to wait. Or you can go into Mt Pleasant and try Page's Okra Grill or Boulevard Diner. Get ready for grits.

Huck's gets mixed reviews, but every time I've been I really enjoyed it. My other IOP favorite in the Boathouse on Breach Inlet. Atlanticville on Sullivans is my favorite restaurant anywhere (read about it in Dorothea Benton Frank's Return to Sullivans Island) Call to make sure they are open-many restaurants are closed on Mondays. You might have to stay longer :)
