We are covering dessert for the family Xmas eve dinner. Anyone had excellent buche de noel and/or croquembouche?

Thanks in advance

Not in SF, but La Bedaine in Berkeley.

If you're willing to take a beautiful ride, Patisserie Angelica is 45 minutes up the road from you, in Sebastopol. Neither their croquembouche or buche are to be missed, and Condra also does some in holiday flavors: mocha, eggnog, pumpkin...my fave is her classic, but it's all wonderful.

I think you need to place an order...
