shout out for Kappa Sake House's home cooking (Park Slope)

Had lunch at Kappa Sake House today. The miso "risotto" dish was delicious, comforting and wonderfully hot in this cold weather. My friend and I were starving, and ended up eating three salads, two cups of miso soup, three entrees and a half-bottle of sake for $56 total. Granted, that's more that you'd spend on an "everyday" lunch, but we thought it was reasonable considering and quantity and quality of what we had. Everything was great.

This place doesn't seem to get much attention (maybe people prefer sushi places?), but it should!

I will second your shout out. We were taken there last night, so I don't know what it cost. We had spicy miso soup, Shrimp dumplings, tuna carpaccio, a couple of rolls, sake and beer. It was all amazingly fresh ad delicious. We were pretty blown away.
