I've been looking high and low for Amarena in the Houston area, Whole Foods, Phonecia and Rice Epicurian market don't have them. Any ideas?

You will overpay, but Williams Sonoma has them.

I just searched Spec's downtown (at www.specsonline.com) and they didn't have them. Have you tried Central Market?

I have never seen them but some places you might try in addition to what you've mentioned: Nundini's on Shepherd, D'Amico's in the Village, the big Antone's in the Village, Spec's on Smith, downtown.
