Swiss Mozarella spread: do you have a recipe?

There was a local place in Pittsburgh that recently closed. it was called "Simply Delicious". They made what they called Swiss Mozzarella Spread that you had to request as a special catering order because it wasn't on their menu. It is a cold spread and you could see fine strings of cheese in the spread. I know that it had mayo. It was off white in color, no herbs or veggies hanging out in there and absolutely delicious.

Has anyone made anything like this? It reminded me in a way of pimento spread just to give you some idea but as i said, seemingly no extras, all white.

I want to try to recreate this in time for Christmas when we used to always get a special order made. I thought someone might have some insight before I started fiddling around. I haven't had any luck browsing around the internet. I was just trying to minimize the amount of messups.

  1. 2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
    One tsp onion juice or one clove crushed garlic
    1 cup Best Foods. mayonnaise

    Mix all ingredients together; chill.

    Add more mayonnaise if you like it thinner.

      there is a recipe that uses knorrs leek soup mix, swiss cheese, sour cream and mayo. combined and's delish! but it def has extra, non-white, herby/veggie bits hanging about!
