Sunday evening dinner in Marietta, Georgia?

We will be in Marietta the evening after Christmas. What is a must for dinner? We like BBQ, soul food, or southern style cooking.

greenwoods on roswell rd has very good Southern cooking--check to see if theyll be open

Greenwood's is on Green Street, which run parallel to Roswell - one block west. It is between Canton and Roswell.

Greenwood's, on Green Street is across the street from Swallow at the Hollow BBQ which is usually open Sunday till 9:00 PM. About 20 minutes from I-75 in east Marietta to Roswell via Hwy 120

I've eaten at both but not recently and only a couple of times so can't really give. recommendation. Check the reviews. Nice atmosphere.

Dave Poe's has excellent bbq, but is closed on Sundays.

You could look into Muss & Turner's too. They're open Sun for dinner, just not sure about that particular one.

Sundays are tough to begin with. December 26th is likely even worse than most Sundays. The Atlanta Journal/Constitution frequently lists restaurants which will be open on holidays. The best Marietta restaurants, for what you request, are closed on Sundays. The OK Cafe, at the West Paces Ferry Road exit off of I-75 is appropriate for blue plate specials, etc. Ritter's on Lower Roswell Road at Woodlawn is a good possibility. They open on Sundays at 5pm.
