Question about BLT Steak

  • 2

Hi all,

I've been to BLT Steak once and really enjoyed it (the food and the vibe; very different than the usual steakhouse feel). I have a cousin coming into town that loves steak and would like to take her to BLT Steak. However, I know for a fact that she does not like "charred" styled steak. Would it be possible to order a steak at BLT and tell them to hold the "char" or is that not even possible given the way they cook their steaks? I know it's an out there question, but any help would be appreciated. I guess I could always call up the restaurant.

Many thanks.

  1. You're right, it IS an "out there" question, I hate to be the one to offer so practical a suggestion, but why not call the restaurant and ask them? You might also ask, if they understand what you're asking for and can comply, for the best way to express this to your server so your cousin will get her steak the way she wants it.

    1. Of course it's possible. I would assume that steaks are cooked to order. I do this all the time at Ray's.
