What's the ISE difference?

I often here ISE mentioned as a favorite, but don't know which one is referred to. There's two in midtown. What is the difference in menu, service and atmosphere? Which do you prefer?

Sushi restaurant. Two Midtown locations, as the OP noted, and a third downtown that may or may not be affiliated.

I went to the one on Pine Street about six weeks ago and was really not impressed. Not horrible, but not a place I will go back to. I do have these vague memories of a lovely Japanese restaurant in the Wall St. area - from years ago - mid-90s maybe - that had v. good sushi, and a lovely zen-like ambiance. No idea if it still exists.
