Metropolitan Grill is the standard businee lunch/dinner place for upscale steak and seafood. I haven't been in a long time. El Gaucho I feel has gone down hill. There are the usual chains--Ruth's Chris, Capitol Grille, McCormick's.

McCormick & Schmick's on 1st Avenue might be a good option for you. I'd find out if they like any ethnic foods - the international district is full of great asian restaurants, and the Pink Door offers some tasty Italian style fare.

re: Eastwind
Yes, and I like it better than most of the high end steak places in the area. The service is better, the steaks have always been done as specified (not always the case - even in the better places) and they have some really good sides. Also I think it is slightly quieter than some of the other establishments. Certainly the Met Grill. We were just at the Met again this week and were disapointed in the service and overall quality. They may have been having an off night, because it has been better in the past, but overall I still prefer John Howie. Even if it is in Bellevue.

Chandler's Crabhouse features USDA prime steaks along with well executed seafood; however, my out-of-the-box suggestion would be the Metropolitan Grill. (They execute seafood very well but are off the local radar on seafood suggestions.) If you go, order the onion rings as well. They are incredible.
