Hi,

I am heading to Paris this weekend with my husband and parents, and would really appreciate some help about where to eat on Saturday night.

We are looking for somewhere that ideally has a prixe fixe menu of around 35 euros. Our hotel is in the Marais, but eating there on Friday so happy to travel beyond.

I have been looking at Brasserie Flottes and L'Epigramme based on personal recommendations, but still pretty confused and obviously time is ticking - appreciate I should have made a recommendation by now.

We are looking for somewhere relatively traditional, with a fantastic atmosphere and of course great french food (cote be boeuf particularly!!!)

Thanks so much for any help.

My pick would be Le Grand Pan, out of the way, cab helpful ,near Plaiance metro, ligne 13. They are famed, at least by me, for their cotes du veau, boeuf, and the amazing best ever porc. 20 or so wines served from barrel and may be a smidge above your 35 but not very much.

This describes the restaurant "Court Bouillon" on Rue du Theatre in the 15th

Thanks you so much to you both - these look like great options.

Good cote de boeuf staying under 35€ pp is close to impossible. That said, I certainly second Le Grand Pan. For me nothing beats the cotes de boeuf at the Amis: Chez l'Ami Jean and A l'Ami Louis.
