Bialys Midtown West or Upper West Side?

We're new to the neighborhood. Lot's of great smoked fish, but where do we get the bialys to go with it?

Thank you all, especially gutsofsteel for the information that Barney Greengrass often gets bialys fresh from Kossar's.

Unfortunately I.M.H.O. Kossar's down on Grand St is the only place to get a really great bialy. There are several places that sell Kossar's in bags but nothing beats fresh out of the oven.
Otherwise, most of the bagel shops make a decent bialy. H&H on BWY makes a decent bialy.

Barney Greengrass gets fresh ones from Kossar's almost every day. I've never bought a Kossar's bialy or pletzl from there that hasn't been fresh.

I wasn't suggesting that Barney or any other place sold stale Kossar's bialys.
I stop at Kossar's in the morning, get a dozen and always ask for 1 more that's just out of the oven. So nice and warm it does not need any butter, MMMMMMMMMMM!!!!
The bialys freeze well if you put them in a good zip lock bag. I take a couple out of the freezer the night before so they are defrosted by morning. Sliced, lightly toasted with a schmear of butter they are terrific.

A warm bialy with shmear of shmaltz (chicken fat), sprinkle of salt...divine.

Zabars or Fairway, you can catch your fish there too.

Barney Greengrass. Amsterdam between 86-87. They sell Kossar's bialys and pletzls. The best.
