chattanooga's best

mnags Dec 15, 2010 03:52 AM

We are heading to Chattanooga for the New Year and want to hit the best. Not looking for anything really fancy (as we are traveling with kids) but we are open to all different kinds of experiences. We would really love a rec. for a place with a traditional new years meal…..greens and peas and such. Otherwise we are just need great lunch and dinner spots that are fun with great food!

Have you done a search? There are several recent posts on Chattanooga, for example:

always had great burgers and bloody mary's at Blacksmith Bistro. Its right at the foot of the Incline Railway so perfect if you are doing the touristy stuff in Chattanooga.

You've got to try this place!
Unfortunately, you've got to get the food to go because they operate out of an
Airstream trailer on Signal Mountain Boulevard.
Gotta try the fish tacos and the smoked butt

Check out the Yellow Deli. Great sandwiches, breakfast, etc... and it's a really interesting place; kind of like a hobbit village. It's open 24 hours during the week but closed on the weekend.
