  1. I'm pretty sure it's franchised, so the likelihood is no, but given its location, it's feasible.

    1. 305-466-9243 is their number. I guess we could call them.

        I called them.
There is currently no supervision on the location but they are looking into it.
All of their salads and sandwiches are from Majestic Caterers which is ORB certified and are packaged and labeled as such. Their pastries are from the same caterer, but are not packaged and labeled kosher.
All of their coffee products/syrups/bases are kosher and they will be glad to show anyone packaging.
And again, they are in the process of getting local certification.
Sounds like a great addition to the South Florida scene!

FYI.. that's how the CBTL in LA are set up...

Thanks so much for calling them! I meant to this morning but my kids kept me away from the phone. Hopefully they will get hashgacha soon and we can all enjoy everything! Now if we could just get a coffee bean to open up here in NYC then we would be set!

I'm not sure what good one CBTL would do, especially if it were to open in an area where there's already lots of kosher. The point of CBTL isn't that it's good, it's that it's everywhere.

It is good though. At least the drinks are... their teas are better than Starbucks.

Make sure you try an African Sunrise tea latte. It tastes like you are drinking a waffle!

thanks for the recommendation! won't be in LA anytime soon, but will be in Miami... maybe will try it there.

        2. Their coffee is terrible (IMHO) but the scones are good. The bagels are good but don't really taste like bagels. Their ice blends are wonderful but ridiculously expensive.

FYI to my SoCal neighbors: I was told by someone in a standalone CBTL that the stands in the Ralph's stores will no longer be CBTL very shortly. No idea what that will mean for the kashrut status.

          1. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I do like their ice blendeds. The coffee is not as bitter as Starbucks. Their powders are good and kosher, also, they have no sugar added ones.
