40th Anniversary dinner on a Sunday

Could anyone suggest a restaurant that features fresh ingredients and great salads - and is open for dinner on Sunday - for my parents' 40th anniversary?

What about Chiado on College? It is more formal but the food is lovely and I've always been pleased. it is a fitting celebration location. However, I cannot comment on the salads specifically.

I'm in the same boat. Looking for recommendations for dinner on Sunday. If you want my two cents, I am not a huge fan of Harbord Room. I've been there a few times and seem to always be disappointed. If you're wanting that neighborhood, I'd rather go to the Boulevard Cafe. More laid-back and cozy, but the food is quite tasty. Both my parents love that place, too, and we have gone there for many a meal. Service is always friendly and timely.

I don't think Harbord Room serves any great salads, and I wouldn't take my parents there for their 40th. The burger is the best thing on the Harbord Room's menu, AFAIK.

If your parents like seafood, Starfish is a nice restaurant that's open on Sunday nights, and is usually fairly quiet Sundays (but energetic-loud Thu-Sat). Not many salads on the menu, though. http://www.starfishoysterbed.com/aboutus.htm

Second the Chiado rec. Chiado also doesn't have too many salads on their menu.

Starfish would be lovely option as well. Not a pricey as Chiado but not fine dining either. Comfortable good food and service.
