What to get a Chimichurri Grill? Or any other Argentinian steak restaurant preferably near midtown/upper west?

I have a craving for steak and want to try grass-fed beef. Been reading that Argentinian grass fed beef is very tasty and I found a place near me called Chimichurri Grill. Going there tonight. Any recommendations? Or for future purpose, any other Argentinian steak restaurant I should try? Also adding on my TODO list - Go to Argentina.

Thanks!

Had a really good dinner here tonight. We had Empanda (chicken and swiss chard), Coliflor Quemada (burn cauliflower), the Entraña a la Parrilla (skirt steak) cooked medium and the Churrasco Argentino (pounded thin filet mignon) cooked medium rare with chimichurri sauce. Everything was delicious. The steaks were very flavorful and tender. The chimichurri sauce went great with the steaks. Boyfriend loved it and we'll definitely be coming back.

We're surprised it didn't have more people in there. It was relatively empty w/ only about 2 - 3 tables occupied. It probably has about 10 tables and is a very small restaurant. Maybe b/c it was really cold tonight and a lot of people stayed in. It's definitely a nice gem in this area and I hope it gets enough business to stay open.

If you want to explore the cuisine further, it's worth a trip out to Jackson Heights/Elmhurst to try the places out there.

Give them a call before you go, I like the place a lot but they don't do grass fed Argentine beef.

Oh I guess I misread. They have grass fed beef on their menu but I guess what you're saying is that it's not from Argentina. We have reservations so I guess I'll still give it a shot.

@Veggo I didn't see flank steak on the menu. Are you just making suggestions in general when ordering at Argentinian restaurant.

Very true, for tit-for-tat stupid trade restrictions as we preach free trade. The US does import small quantities of grass fed beef from.... Uruguay.
