Birthday dinner for 5 at Locanda Verde

Taking family out for husbands birthday, have reservation @ Locanda Verde, good choice??? First time there, any other suggestions similar wlecome.

  1. Great choice! Convivio is a little more expensive, as is Scarpetta, two others that I would also reccomend, but Locanda Verde is tough to beat.

    1. Love this restaurant! It's probably my favorite in Tribeca. The ricotta starter is fantastic, and if they haven't changed the fall menu yet, you have to try the pumpkin angolotti--maybe not as an entree because it is quite sweet--but it's fantastic to share with the table.

      1. There are other places you could choose that would be equally good, but LV is a fine choice. My only complaint about it is the service can be a bit rushed, but the food is great.
