Help - Restaurant on Garcia Virgil & Cosijopi, near Posada Don Mario

fredamoon Dec 14, 2010 08:23 AM

Hi folks -- Some help, please. When I was in Oaxaca a couple years ago, I went to a restaurant around the corner from my hotel (Posada Don Mario on Cosijopi). I'm trying to find the name of the restaurant -- because I had the best chiles en nogada of my life there, as part of the $75 peso set lunch (unbelievable, I know). The restaurant offered cooking classes. Anyone know the one I'm talking about?

Thanks!

Must be La Casa del Tio Güero. Competent comidas corridas, though probably not in the "best ever" category... Cheers. B.

Casa Crespo? It's in that area and they offer cooking classes. Sort of upscale, study looking (lots of books on shelves) decor.
