Haven't been there in years but Emerson Inn in Pigeon Cove will be open with a prix fixe Christmas Eve dinner from 5;30-9...dont know if the regular menu available as well...and the couple of times we did go I always thought there was just one too many things on the plate...like one sauce too many or one herb too many

I think you'll find that most resto's will be closing 'early' that day, Chinese resto's like Kowloon on rte 1 in Saugus will be open.

I'd be interested in recommendations as well. Duckworth's is closed and I think I remember that the Franklin is too.
