lunch for a small crowd - FRIDAY - Harvard Square
I work here, and I'm STILL drawing a blank!
Anyone have brilliant ideas for lunch for 15-20 in Harvard Square this coming Friday? Our usual venue, Casablanca, has yet to confirm if they can take us. In case they can't, what might be my backups? Harvest, Upstairs too expensive/formal. Henrietta's, well, kind of corporate.
Wagamama is a possibility but I can't stand sitting on those benches for very long, and this needs to be a convivial affair. Shabu-ype of meal is too balkanzing for this crowd. Has to be out - our strange culture means no catering in the building, but we can spend it at a restaurant.
Sandrine - is that in the same price range as CasaB? What ethnic goodness am I missing?
thanks

The Red House doesn't get a lot of love on this board, but I've had some really nice meals there, and I for one don't think you can go wrong with Russell House Tavern. The only thing about Russell House is their menu is somewhat limited. I've only had drinks at Daedalus but thought that might be an option. Maybe someone else will post their thoughts.
